Savannah Cotton ExchangeIn December on our family vacation, one of the places we visited was Savannah, GA. While we were there we visited Paula Deen’s The Lady and Son’s Restaurant, took a trolley tour with  Old Savannah Tours through historical Savannah, and had dinner at The Olde Pink House.

My wife thought the BLT Salad with Fried Green Tomatoes looked good. She asked me to get it and “share” it with her. Our server then reminded us that it had been chosen by The Food Network chef, Aaron Sanchez, as his choice for “The Best Thing I Ever Ate – Sliced“.

He was absolutely correct! Along with everything else we enjoyed at our meal! This place is fantastic and if you’re in Savannah, be sure and make reservations for you and your special someone. We took our two kids and although they enjoyed it, it wasn’t necessarily “kid friendly” for choices of food. My son enjoyed half of a filet mignon, which I then enjoyed about 5 hours later in the hotel when it was cold… and it was still absolutely fantastic!
